If you're new to RPing, constantly writing 150-word-minimum posts may seem a bit daunting. But if you're stuck for ideas to flesh out your writing, use these points for inspiration - in time, you'll be writing these posts without any help at all!
- Try to explore the character's emotions; are they feeling happy, sad, scared? Why are they feeling like this? Is it because of where they are, or has something happened to them to make them feel that way?
- Describe your surroundings in detail. Include what other dogs there look like, the atmosphere of the setting, and even what your charrie is doing there.
- Explore your character's thoughts about where they are and what they're doing. It can help anyone who's replying to understand your character, thus it could give them more material for their posts, too.
- Think about the city-state which your character hails from; if you're a Spartan, for example, it's pretty likely that you'll feel quite hostile towards, say, an Athenian. Exploring your feelings towards the other city-states can shape the relationships you have with other charries. If you're a Free Man, however, you're less likely to have fixed feelings towards any four of the civilisations, so your opinions may generally be more neutral.
